Noodle Manufacturer Issues Recall Because Bad Eggs Used in Noodle Recipe

Real Taste Noodle Manufacture of Chicago, IL has recalled bags of Egg Noodles (5lbs per bag, 10 bags per case), because they may be contaminated with Salmonella.

The affected bags were distributed between June 12, 2010 and August 25, 2010 to restaurants and grocery wholesalers either by pick up or delivery.

The recall was initiated because Real Taste Noodle used eggs produced by Wright County Egg and Hillandale Farms in the noodle recipes.  Both of the egg farms have been linked to the massive Salmonella Enteritidis outbreak that has sickened over 1500 people nationwide and resulted in the a recall of over 550 million contaminated eggs.
