The Nebraska Department of Health (NDH) is currently investigating an outbreak of Salmonella St. Paul linked to alfalfa sprouts. The sprouts were raised and distributed by local grower C.W. Sprouts of Omaha.
So far, NDH has found 84 lab-confirmed cases, with 15 more considered probable. Information about the counties in which the sickened persons reside has been released, as shown below:

Iowa: 5 confirmed, 4 probable
South Dakota: 5 confirmed (Clay, Davison, Minnehaha, Moody and Yankton counties) and 1 probable
